Dear Chapter members and friends,

While Chicago lost one great opportunity at the Olympics, it gained another in ATMA!!! Chicago is hosting the Sixth Annual ATMA convention in 2010. This will be held on August 12th - 15th, 2010 at the Hilton/Chicago-Indian Lakes Resort. This year's Convention's theme is "Women"/ "தாய் நலம் காக்க...தன்னலமற்ற மருத்துவ சமுதாயமே, திரண்டு வாருங்கள்." The Convention Committee with all the sub-committee members are working hard to give you all a grand experience.

We need your help and support to make the Chicago convention the best and most memorable ATMA Convention. Please encourage you friends to become members and attend this great social gathering to make plans for the betterment of the poor & underserved in our homeland of Tamilnadu & Pondicherry. You may also send the phone # of other tamil Docs in your area who are not members yet to me so that i can contact them.

We have great CME presentations on current topics about women and their families' physical & mental health. We have arranged exiciting entertainment programs for the evenings with scintillating music by Chicago Mellisai Group, dances to the Rhythms of Rahman by internationally acclaimed dance troup of Mrs.Hema Rajagopalan,pattimantram on " அமெரிக்காவில் வந்து குடியேறிய நமக்குச் சிறந்த உணவு: இட்லி, தோசையா அல்லது - PIZZA, PASTA -வா?" and karaoke songs by talented members. There will be songs & dances by members' kids on Thursday night.
